The ACCIDENT : september 17th 1960
MONT VENTOUX, at 1,8 KM from Bédoin at 14H00.
At a bend the driver lost control of the rear of the car due to a big pool of water on the road. Left side of car crashed up the embankment of the road with resulted in a broken collar-bone for Thépenier.

Luckily the car was insured, just for the event.
